About the role
As a technical salesperson, you will be a key person between our resellers across Europe and our own design department. You are responsible for building strong and long-term relationships, understanding the resellers' business and needs, and guiding them on how our solutions create value for their customers. The role includes providing technical advice and developing well-founded solution proposals that truly make a difference. You coordinate projects from start to finish and work closely with both customers and colleagues in design and production to ensure that each delivery meets the highest quality standards.
An important part of your work is to travel to our European resellers to educate, present new products, and ensure they have the right knowledge to succeed in their markets. You are the one who makes the technology understandable, interesting, and useful, and you act as an extended arm of the company out in the world. You have daily contact with customers via phone and email, combined with regular customer visits. This is a broad and varied role with significant personal responsibility, where you have the opportunity to influence, be close to the business, and shape your own workday. You thrive in a combination of technology, relationship building, and meeting people.
About you
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and a good understanding of construction, materials, and drawings. You are used to delving into technical details and can easily see what is feasible from both a design and production perspective. Your technical competence is central to the role and gives you confidence when meeting customers and resellers. At the same time, you enjoy engaging in dialogue with people. You build relationships through knowledge and trust and enjoy guiding customers to the right solution. When you present our products, you do so in a clear and pedagogical manner that helps the recipient understand both functionality and benefits.
A large part of the role involves supporting and educating our resellers across Europe, which means you need to be comfortable traveling and giving presentations. If you have previous experience in international work and training suppliers or resellers, we consider it a merit. In your daily work, you have close contact with our designers, and your ability to interpret technical documents allows you to quickly translate customer needs into realistic and feasible solution proposals. You are structured, responsible, and used to managing multiple parallel processes in an organized manner.
As the company operates internationally, you need to express yourself well in spoken and written English. Knowledge of German is an advantage and appreciated in contact with several of our European customers.

Sittab was founded in 1991 and is today a world leader in developing, manufacturing, and selling seat accessories in both standard and customized versions for operator-controlled machines. The company is headquartered in Gustafs, outside Borlänge, with 45 employees and also has subsidiaries in India, China, and the USA. Our products are sold worldwide, with Europe and the USA as our most important markets.
